Color: a deep purple-red, almost opaque in the center. Aroma: plum, blackberry, and cassis dominate – you can just feel the Viognier trying to break through with some floral notes. There’s also some eucalyptus and mint in there as well. Taste: powerful stuff; while Cabernet led on the nose, the Shiraz is noticeable right off the bat on the palate. Big notes of spice, with some of the eucalyptus, then followed in the mid-palate by Cabernet fruit. The finish is still ripe and juicy; this has several more good years in the bottle. Even though it has a whopping 15% alcohol, it’s not hot at all. The finish has just a bit of tannin coming through.

Shinas ripe shiny blackberry red. Voluptuous cherry, vanilla and peppery spice aromas and full-bodied flavours packed with smoky vanillin oak, cherry and strawberry fruits, chocolate and mocha all wrapped up in a big, rich, velvety smooth package. A juicy wine with fine tannins, the pepper detected on the nose kicks in again to make a welcome re-appearance on the powerful finish. Made from low yielding old vines dating back to 1898 and aged in older French oak, the fruit is sourced from Mildura on the north west Victorian border.

Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby in color, with aromas of Bing cherry and cassis. Flavors of menthol, spice and oak with round firm tannins lead to a soft, silky, lingering finish.

Every year, when it is time to assemble the next vintage, we renew the conversation about what makes a "classic" Napa Cabernet. Our guiding idea is balance: richness vs. tannins, ripe fruit vs. dried herb aromatics, ageability vs. instant gratification. Each year we aim to balance the velvety textured cherries and plums from our Stags Leap Vineyard with the big bodied, black berried fruit of our Mt. George Vineyard to create our version of a Napa classic.

Small Gully this GSM blend shows intense berry fruit characters typical of ripe fruit picked at high baume. Oak does not play a dominant role in this wine letting the fruit show its full potential. The wine is of great intensity, exhibiting spicy, full flavours with balance and structure.

Smith and Hook showing off spicy aromas and fruity flavors, this robust Cabernet is perfect pairing for BBQ! This maroon beauty shows an elegant balance of fruit and oak. Aromas of cedar and cassis jump out of the glass, while the palate evokes flavors of black cherries and dark chocolate. This dark and dense wine shows strong tannins from the first sip with a dry finish balanced by hints of vanilla and cloves.

Soléna this is our first Pinot Noir from the Hyland Vineyard. Aromas of rose petals, Asian spice and dark berry fruit are subtly complimented by lavender and wet stone. The wine has clean, elegant flavors of blackberries, raspberries and blueberries, and a hint of spice and minerality. The wine is incredibly balanced with lively but not overpowering acidity, a lush mid- palate, and a lovely long finish.

Some Young Punks a typically vibrant, juice-fuelled drop of liquid elixir. Suave, perfumed black and dark fruits, cherry essence, spice, dark chocolate and liquorice. There is a complexing hint of 'old-world' earthy rusticity flowing cheek by jowl with great vitality, freshness and presence on the palate.
