  • Kraken Black Spiced Rum

A drink as strong and dark as kraken (giant squid) ink...94 proof and laden with flavor...The label doesnt indicate it, but the rum is distilled in Trinidad and Tobago... a truly monstrous hit of chocolate and molasses, cut with Christmas spices cinnamon and allspice, cloves and maybe even some ginger. Vanilla is big on the finish. Overall the effect is quite impressive.

  • Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch 16 year old 750ML

A much sought-after single malt with the massive peat-smoke that's typical of southern Islay - but also offering richness and a dryness that turns it into a truly interesting dram. The 16 year old has become a benchmark Islay dram from the Lagavulin distillery. Nose: more like Lapsang Souchong tea than Lapsang Souchong! One of the smokiest noses from Islay. It's big, very, very concentrated, and redolent of iodine, sweet spices, good, mature sherry and creamy vanilla. Stunning. Palate: very thick and rich. A massive mouthful of malt and sherry with good fruity sweetness, but also a wonderful sweetness. Big, powerful peat and oak. Finish: long, spicy finish, figs, dates, peat smoke, vanilla.

  • Laphroaig Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch 10 year old 750ML

Laphroaig colour: Rich deep gold. Nose: Very powerful, "medicine", smoke, seaweed and ozone characters overlaying a sweetness. Body: Full and strong. Palate: A massive peated burst of flavour with hints of sweetness at the end. Finish: Long and savoury.

  • Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch 10 year old 750ML

Laphroaig in making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour. Those enjoying the 10 Year Old will first notice the bold, smoky taste, followed by a hint of seaweed and a surprising sweetness. This full-bodied variant is the foundation of all Laphroaig expressions and comes with a long finish.

  • Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch 25 year old 750ML

Laphroaig when you marry together the sherried, oaky flavours from the 2nd fill European Oak Oloroso Sherry Casks with the creamy, smooth, sweet flavours from the ex American Oak Bourbon barrels you end up with a marriage made in heaven that's called Laphroaig 25 Years Old. Bottled at 40% ABV, it is a perfect fusion of these two most different styles of maturation flavours, made even smoother by the 25 years it has had gently maturing.

  • Laphroaig Quarter Cask Single Malt Scotch 750ML

Laphroaig Quarter Cask offers an irresistible doubling of flavour, due to the double maturation in two barrels made of American oak. Still-maturing whisky from our standard ex-bourbon barrels is transferred to quarter casks and left to rest in our warehouse just a stone's throw from the Atlantic shore. This process represents Laphroaig breathing new life into a once-defunct tradition: the use of the smaller cask size, which ensures increased contact with the oak, creating a soft and velvety edge to complement Laphroaig's distinctive peatiness. On the nose the sensation is toffee and caramel, caused by the vanillas and tannins of the American oak, plus a dryness from the wood oil. The finish is long and alternates between this sweetness and smoke.

  • Licor 43 Cuarenta Y Tres 750ML

Cuarenta y Tres is Spain's leading liqueur and has been made in Cartagena by Diego Zamora since 1924 although it's origins go back many centuries. The name derives from the forty three ingredients that go to make up this fine liqueur. With it's smooth vanilla and citrus flavours it is excellent on the rocks or in cocktails.

  • Lord Calvert Canadian Whiskey

Sweet to start out, with strong flavours of real maple syrup and vanilla. White pepper arrives quickly, along with bright zesty citric notes. The palate is very buttery yet surprisingly fresh and lively with piquant peppers and tingling spice. Oak comes through crisply in the nose with the woodsman’s balm of freshly sawn planks and just a touch of tannic astringency. Not a particularly complex whisky, but well-balanced and very flavourful, while remaining light and creamy.

  • Lunazul Tequila Blanco 750ML

This crystal clear colored spirit has a pronounced agave nose with alcohol overtones. The initial taste has hints of cinnamon & cloves with a hot, spicy aftertaste. The body is light, with an almost airy characteristic lending it to being a wonderful mixer in tequila cocktails.

  • Lunazul Tequila Reposado 750ML

The Lunazul Reposado 100% de Agave Tequila is sophisticated without being pretentious. It is aged in charred American oak barrels for a minimum of 3 months. The tequila has an amber/gold appearance, a velvety textured body and a fruit and black pepper bouquet. The soft, gentle entry fills the mouth with a generous helping of semisweet vanilla, fruit and spice flavors. Fortunately the flavors persist on the palate for an impressively long time. This is a top-notch tequila.

  • Macallan Cask Strength Single Highland Malt Scotch 750ML

Macallan mahogany, rich dried fruit, chocolate orange with wood spices (ginger) and oak in background. Full, rich wood spices, fruits coming through afterwards. Conscious that whisky at natural cask strength of almost 60% abv can be overly pungent Bob has managed to balance the obvious high alcohol with classic clove like spices and dried fruits.

  • Macallan Fine Oak 10 Yr Single Malt Scotch 750ML

"Medium golden color. Sweet caramel, banana nut bread, and spice aromas. A round entry leads to a smooth, fruity sweet medium-to full-bodied palate with toffee, layer cake, peppery spice, and a touch of straw-like tannin. Finishes with a nice heather, pepper, and caramel fade."

  • Macallan Fine Oak 12 Yr Single Malt Scotch 750ML

Known for its full-flavored yet smooth character, the 12 Years Old is a testament to the superior quality achieved through continued use of Golden Promise barley and The Macallan's insistence on aging its whisky in sherry casks. Pleasant, sweet, toasty oak nose with caramel overtones. More intense aroma without an alcohol nose. Rich, creamy seared-oak flavors; caramel and vanilla notes linger on the front of the palate, but it is still soft enough to hold on the tongue even at 94 proof. A big mouth-watering oaky finish. Long with a little spice, staying forward on the palate without the bitter bite found in older whiskies.
