Gekkeikan Kobai Plum wine (named after the red flowers which bloom on plum trees) is a profusion of flavor as enticing as the fragrant plum. Delicately balanced between sweet and refreshing, Kobai Plum is made with California white wine and natural plum flavors. Sweet plum aroma, with plum, black cherry and passion fruit flavors and a sweet sherry-like finish. Delicious with fresh fruit salad, ice creams and sorbets, dishes with tangy sweet sauces (such as barbecue or hoisin), chocolate, cheese and salted nuts. Excellent aperitif or dessert wine. Serve chilled or over ice. Makes a great plum wine spritzer.
