  • B Cellars Blend 24 750ML

B Cellars Blend 24 is consistently an incredible wine for the price and speaks so much to the value that can be found in wines today. It is not a bashful blend and represents the best of premium Cabernet, Petite Sirah and the noble Sangiovese. The flavor is forward and rustic in style. This a tribute to the Petite Sirah that provides the blend with a canvas of this wonderful reddish/black color from which aromas of bright red cherry, cola berries, spicebox and garrigue radiate. The bounty of aromatics leads to flavors of hard red candy, blackberry and hints of minerality. The mid-palate is complex and is supported by muscular tannins. Old world in several respects, this wine should age well over the next 8 yrs.

  • B. R. Cohn Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

I had a chance to sample one of these blends recently, the B.R. Cohn Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s been a while since I’ve had a Cab (or even any wine from California) and I’d forgotten how much I enjoy one that’s got a complex array of dark fruit and spice notes. The B.R. Cohn Gold Label Cabernet has rich notes of black cherry, blackberry, and plum and finished smooth with a hint of chocolate. It’s bold and (at 14.5% alcohol) strong, but not overpowering. My measure of likability is how it gets me in the jaw, and this one did not; it was smooth and enjoyable. Too enjoyable; I had to remind myself of its strength on the second pour. The Gold Label Cab is the big brother to the vineyard’s Silver Label Cab, popular and highly rated as an “entry-level” and affordable wine.

  • B. R. Cohn Olive Hill Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

    B. R. Cohn this wine has pronounced aromas and flavors of plum, black currant, and cherry. Luscious berry and cherry flavors fill the palate, and silky tannins follow through to a warm, lasting finish. A bouquet of fine oak, anise and mint combined with supple tannin and a long finish to produce a well-balanced rich full-bodied Cabernet that will age well for years to come and drink well at your table now.

  • B. R. Cohn Silver Label Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

    B. R. Cohn complex and full, rich aromas of plum, cassis and black cherry are accompanied by a bouquet of the finest French oak, cedar, cola, anise, vanilla, and nutmeg. On the palate, our Silver Label is a big rich Cabernet with luscious flavors of dried berry and cherry, ample tannin, and a long finish.

  • Banshee Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

Banshee with the also cool 2010 vintage freshly in our minds, we worked closely with our growers and dropped more fruit in late August once we saw how behind things were. This allowed the remaining bunches to ripen a small (but important) bit faster. Secondly, we did a massive culling of our various lots after harvest, selling off nearly half of our production on the bulk market, leaving us with only the very best barrels from the best blocks. And lastly we spent a lot of time blending and leaned more on other Bordeaux varietals than in past vintages. We had an absolutely killer lot of Petite Verdot and a very charming piece of Merlot that played big parts here.

  • Barefoot Cabernet Sauvignon

Quick! The berries are coming! Big berry flavors like currant, raspberry and blackberry jam with a velvety vanilla finish make up this Cabernet Sauvignon. Lush and lasting, it’s sure to make a big impression. Always stomps out a good time with beef, lamb and red sauce pastas.

  • Barnett Vineyards Rattlesnake Hill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

Barnett Vineyards intensely dark purple in color this vintage the wine is big and very concentrated. Aromas of raspberries and vanilla bean are complemented by dark chocolate and licorice. Layers of allspice, clove and cassis are also apparent. Upon tasting the wine is very viscous with darker fruit flavors to match the vanilla and pure black peppercorn emerges. The tannins are quite firm with great acidity to back it up. Although some bottle bouquet will begin to develop after ten years this is an ager, for those with patience this wine will progress gracefully for the next 20 years (2033).

  • Beau Vigne Cult Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

Beau Vigne the Cult is a brawny and flashy wine. Right at home in Beau Vigne's stellar group of offerings, this wine speaks to the hillsides from which it was born. You can smell and taste the power of the mountains. It is a wine woven together by the fruit of God and the hand of the winemaker. There is a rotund core to the fruit in this wine. It possesses a center that while somewhat tight and complex today will nicely fill out with time in the bottle. The bright red fruit sits in the center of this wine like a star surrounded by planets. There is no avoiding its presence and pull. In addition to the deep fruit there are notes of French Oak vanillin, cured meat, salty shores, and a touch of Christmas spice. The palate plays on the tongue upon entry. Again, powerful and focused upon the red fruit core; never allowed to escape the gravity of black cherry, soil and stones of the terroir. I love the center and final delivery of this wine. It carries for several seconds past a minute. An enjoyable wine now with grilled or smoke meats, this wine will cellar well past 2025 or longer.

  • Bell Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 6 750ML

Bell our 2006 vintage is characterized by dark ruby color, firm supple tannins, good natural acidity and concentrated flavors. Overtones of black cherry, currant and blackberry in combination with undertones of chocolate, coffee and pepper meld with the vanilla and cedar nuances of French oak in waves of complexity. On the palate the wine is deep and brooding, with great structure and depth of flavor. The wine has concentrated yet supple tannins, good fruit and acidity and a persistent finish, contributing to a finely balanced wine consistent with the classic Bordeaux style of our prior releases. This vintage shows great potential and promises to be long lived.

  • Bell Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

Bell Napa Valley Cabernet is a wonderful example of why Napa Valley is a great place to grow the red Bordeaux varietals. In the glass the wine shows its dark ruby color while aromas of cassis and dark berries rise up to your nose. The medium body tannins and sweet oak give way to flavors of coffee and cocoa. The wine's layers of complexity are derived from grapes grown in selected vineyards in the Rutherford and Yountville AVAs. The Petit Verdot adds depth to the color and a tannic richness, while the Merlot and Malbec bring softness, acidity and fruit. Crafted in a rich, concentrated European style, this wine pairs well with flavorful, full-bodied meals, and will develop a harmonious smoothness with age. Excellent today, the wine will also reward those with the patience to cellar it.
