The Greg Norman Estates Cabernet Merlot is a gorgeous garnet red color, vibrant and lustrous in the glass. The nose is bright with defined aromas of red berry fruits, strawberry, fresh raspberry, cranberry and red currant. With hints of warm, dark plum and rhubarb along with fine cinnamon spice and light cedar oak notes adding complexity to the nose. The medium bodied wine has a tight structure around a generous core of red berry fruit as reflected in the wines aromas. The soft, rounded and velvety tannins add to the overall structure and texture of the palate, but also add definition and length to the finish. “This is a classic Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot of great finesse and character, two varieties renown for perfectly complimenting each other and for making long lived wines that age gracefully,” said Winemaker, Andrew Hales.

We co-fermented the Zinfandel with a touch of Petite Sirah to add complexity and structure, and then aged the wine in large oak casks so the flavors are well integrated but not overwhelmed by oak. This food-friendly Zinfandel's flavors of strawberries, red plums, orange zest, and a hint of white pepper make it the perfect match for grilled meats, lasagna, pizza topped with tomato sauce, and beef stews

Aromatic and concentrated, this Cabernet bursts out of the glass with aromas of black cherries and dried black currants complemented by notes of espresso and sweet oak. On the palate flavors combining dark chocolate and blueberries are framed by drying tannins, leading to a clean finish with hints of caramelized plums and spice. The plush tannins and strong dark fruit flavors of this wine make it a perfect complement to marinated skirt steak with grilled onions, or teriyaki chicken skewers.

Jammy fruit from beginning to end—starting with aromas of blueberry pie, nutmeg and pepper. In the mouth, flavors expand to include boysenberry, plum, blueberry and spice. This full bodied wine has a bold tannin structure and balanced acidity that lead to a long finish. This big wine is anything but “petite."

Hogue the Genesis Meritage offers aromas of brambly blackberry and fig, with earthy nutmeg spice and vanilla. It's velvety smooth on the palate, with fresh blueberry, huckleberry and zesty spice wrapped around earth notes and cassis. The finish is long. Pair with prime rib, grilled pork loin, or lamb roast with garlic-herb crust.

Hopler color: Garnet ruby. Nose: With aromas of elegant cherry fruit and tangy blood orange characters. Palate: Flavors of juicy blackberries and currents, balanced with nice acidity and soft tannins. Food pairing: Very well suited for a variety of dishes, but just perfect with BBQ.

Irony Monterey Pinot Noir leads with red cherry, ripe strawberry and vanilla aromas, heightened by an earthy undercurrent of sage. Bright red cherry flavors are layered with strawberry jam and accents of rhubarb and red licorice. The lush, supple tannins found in this medium-bodied Pinot Noir are beautifully balanced with fresh, crisp acidity. Enjoy with lamb stew, flatbread with prosciutto, pecorino and arugula, cheeses or grilled salmon.

A Calvo Casajus almost purple color. Fresh bouquet of wild strawberry, raspberry, and crushed stones leading into the medium bodied palate that starts light but opens nicely with a sublime flavors after decanting. Long, soft, spicy finish.

"Translucent purple plum color. This red is a blend of 66% Shiraz, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Grenache, and 4% Petite Verdot. Light wood spice with a hint of mint lead to candied red fruit aromas. This wine seems sweet in the mouth, with a medium-grained earthy/chocolate texture."

An elegant, medium-bodied blend of Merlot, Zinfandel and Petite Syrah create lush facets of ripe cherries, juicy blueberries and mocha with a plush, lingering finish.

Garnet red with a pink rim. Effusing blackberry, anise and rose petal nose. Ripe blackberry/black plum and red cherry flavors broaden into smooth, balanced midpalate and a finish that reflects anise, vanilla and blackberries. Roast pork, grilled steak, simple BBQ chicken, grilled salmon or tuna steaks. By March 2012, the wine will gain richness and perfume - so pair it with full-bore BBQ, spicy Thai or Mexican food, or any full-flavored meal.

K Vintners wrapped in a velvet robe, this wine shimmers with energy, purity and true life force, not to mention cranberry, blackberry, undergrowth, cured meat and pan grille. Elegant and deep, will age beautifully.

Krupp Brothers this wine is rich in aromatics consisting of dark fruits, roasted coffee bean, tobacco, red licorice and spice. A bold entry leads to a beautifully rich and weighty palate with flavors of black currant, bramble berry, cocoa powder and lilac. The structure of the wine is powerful and concentrated which leads to a long & elegant finish.

Colors range from vibrant, glowing red to almost opaque purple, aromas from red peppercorn, flowers, and sweet dried herbs to black plum, black licorice, tar, and smoked meat, and structures from clean, bright, and focused to heavy, soft, and sweet.
