Pennywise light ruby in color, our Pinot Noir blend boasts aromas of wild cherry, pomegranate molasses, sassafras, Tahitian vanilla bean, and white pepper. In the mouth, you start with flavors of fresh Bing cherry, sweetened dried cranberry, raspberry, sandalwood, sweet basil, and tamarind. This blend finishes with flavors of fresh baked cherry pie, red apple, and well rounded vanilla from the French Oak used in production. This blend would pair very well with a toasted pistachio crusted goat cheese medallion over salad greens with a raspberry vinaigrette, roasted pork tenderloin with a fresh mushroom gravy alongside roasted sweet potatoes, or a classic margarita thin crust pizza made with vine ripened tomatoes, fresh basil, and handmade mozzarella.

Our Oregon Pinot Noir is medium-bodied with strawberry, cherry and raspberries aromas. It is well-structured and elegant, with lingering spicy/earthy notes and cherry flavors throughout the mid-palate. The wine has a bright mouth feel integrated with soft round tannins for a lengthy finish.

Ponga this balanced wine offers aromas and flavors of black cherry, plum and cola nut. Its mouthwatering acidity makes it an ideal companion for stuffed mushrooms, grilled salmon or roast duck.

Raptor Ridge this wine delivers some of the classic characteristics of this subtle, silky vintage. On the nose, red fruit like red raspberry, cherry, and strawberry dominate with warm brown spice undertones. The palate, though a bit tightly wound, supports these red fruits, with echoes of the brown spices and even a hint of mint to finish. With decanting, this wine will open up, revealing the beauty she will become with more time in the cellar.

Raptor Ridge each year we are impressed with Shea Vineyard fruit and its ability to deliver NW forest floor aromas like mushroom, peat, and cedar on the nose and palate. In this vintage, these earthy aromas and flavors are combined with warm fruits, like red strawberry rhubarb pie and Italian plum gallete. Pops of sarsaparilla and bakers chocolate weave with toasty oak barrel notes adding even more dimension to this complex, flagship wine. With aging, the firm tannins will develop into rich body with supple texture. This wine is perfect with Northwest cuisine.

In the glass, this wine is a deep dusty violet color, with nice concentration. On the nose, sweet bramble fruit and ripe black cherry mingle with sarsaparilla and cherry cola. On the palate, the root beer hints are amplified in a pleasing way, along with even more ripe black cherry and Italian plum juice. The surprisingly lengthy finish imparts both black tea and bright acidity, making this particularly nice when paired with food. This wine delivers the best of both new and old worlds!
