The A to Z Pinot Noir invites with vibrant aromas of juicy berries, cherries, lavender and violets, evolving to clove, game, smoke and cherry tobacco. It might seem odd to plant Syrah in the heart of Pinot Noir country, but it’s one of the mysterious charms of the Northwest, where Riesling and Cabernet can also grow successfully side by side. This wine has deep color, excellent balance, true varietal expression, and seductive hints of smoke, cured meat, and a salty tang. Purple berry flavors are just ripe enough; it’s an elegant, restrained style, suggesting that the Willamette Valley can put a unique stamp on this grape.

Deep and rich, our Alamos Cabernet Sauvignon expresses dark berry characteristics that are complemented nicely by slight herbal notes. Oak aging lent complex layers of brown spice and vanilla .

Alamos Red Blend has spicy flavors of black pepper and blackberry fruit from the Syrah, and juicy dark cherry flavors from the Bonarda. Both of these varieties marry well with the dark plum flavors of Malbec. Tempranillo adds an intriguing edge with its lively strawberry nuances that mingle perfectly with hints of oak. A warm brown spice character from the oak and a rich mouthfeel deliver a bold and very approachable wine.

Varietally distinct, this Zinfandel captures the true essence of Alexander Valley. The fruit is sourced from a variety of vineyards with differing microclimates. This provides winemaker Kevin Hall with an array of unique parcels of fruit.

Alexander Valley Vineyards today, winemaker Kevin Hall harvests from two sites on the eastern side of the Dry Creek Valley. The red rocky soil of the hillside vineyard on Dry Creek Road produces smaller berries with higher acidity and dark fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry. While the gravelly loam soil at the West Dry Creek Road vineyard on the valley floor produces fruit with pronounced jammy flavors of black cherry, plum and black pepper.

Alpha Omega II is the culmination of the two worlds, the Alpha and the Omega, the Old World and the New World. Our two winemakers, Jean Hoefliger and Michel Rolland, worked to create a wine that is not only opulent, fruit forward and generous, but also has the backbone of European acidity and elegance. A reflection of both worlds. II is a wine that is built to be approachable, both in taste and price, and consumed early.

The nose displays dark berries, black cherry and blackberry, mingling with oak spice and lavender with a touch of almond. On the palate the wine is velvety smooth, with balanced acidity, sweet raspberry fruit and blueberries with fresh herbs d' Provence on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon is the core varietal of Napa Valley. Cabernet likes the heat and sun of Napa Valley so it can reach ripe aromas and tannins which make the varietal very exciting. Although, as with every wine, the balance between tannins, acidity, mouth feel and aromas has to be respected. In light of this, we add a touch of Merlot for softness, Cabernet Franc for spice and Petit Verdot to strengthen the wine.

Angeline our Pinot Noir is produced from fruit that abounds with intense fruit and rich aromas. By "cold soaking" the crushed grapes and fermenting at moderate temperatures, bright fruit flavors are extracted from the grape, without harsh tannins. This Pinot Noir is a lively garnet color with aromas of intense fruit, luscious vanilla and spice. Bright fruit flavors of fresh strawberry, cherry, raspberry and ripe plum are layered with creamy vanilla, earthy overtones, tea spice and sweet toasty oak on the finish.
