The Syrah Clifton Vineyard gives up loads of wood smoke, tobacco, olive and black currant, as well as medium to full-bodied richness, solid mid-palate depth and sweet tannin that emerges on the finish. It still has some oak to integrate, so give it a year in the cellar and enjoy bottles over the following 7 to 8 years.
