The grapes for 'The Label' come from 20+ year old vines in a single, Organically-farmed vineyard that recently became part of the Turley Estate in St Helena. The wine undergoes aging in all French oak (40% new), which imparts a nicely integrated creaminess and toasty spice. The wine is packed full of ripe black and blue fruits with pretty floral notes. Balanced and inviting, The Label represents a refreshing take on Napa Cabernet without veering too far off course in terms of overall flavor, accessibility, and appeal.
