We call it “our original Red Blend.” Our Hearty Burgundy combines mouth-watering richness with flavors ranging from dark berry to red plum. Since 1964 it’s been one of our family’s favorites, so we think you’ll enjoy it too. Hearty Burgundy’s well-balanced fruit and subtle hints of oak pair well with the bold and layered flavors of chili, Italian meat sauce, and grilled sausages.

Our full-bodied Merlot is all about taste. It’s tough not to enjoy the blended flavors of black cherry, ripe plum and hints of oak that create a velvety richness. Smooth and approachable fruit flavor matches very well with a wide range of foods including pork roast, pasta with rich tomato sauce, poultry, as well as grilled meats and vegetables.

Our White Zinfandel combines crisp refreshment with bright fruit. You’ll taste flavors of fresh strawberry and hints of sweet, white peach. It’s sure to please someone at every family gathering. Raise a glass to our versatile White Zinfandel with a wide range of foods from Thanksgiving turkey to chicken salad and even peach cobbler.

Gallo Signature Series Chardonnay has aromas of sweet smoke, with integrated notes of oak and fruit on the palate. A true expression of the Russian River Valley, this wine has aromas of sweet vanilla and freshly baked bread, combined with flavors of crisp apple, lemon meringue and ginger.

Gamba our vintage of Gamba Estate Vineyard Russian River Valley is a brilliant garnet. color, the aromas are highlighted by luscious black cherry, raspberry with clove, and toasted oak accents. In the mouth this wine is soft and velvety, filling the senses with juicy cherry, boysenberry and blueberry, with layered, subtle, complex flavors of cardamom, nutmeg, toasty mocha, and hints of allspice.

Gardienne Des Vignes displays a beautiful vibrant, ruby purple color. The wine features spicy black raspberry, blueberry and brambleberry fruit framed by hints of vanilla, cream, white pepper, cedar and toast. Intensely flavored, and brightly fruited, showing medium body and a rich texture with a racy acidity that carries the wine from the mid palate through the lengthy finish. The soul of the wine, which is clearly centered and focused on the purity of fruit shines through.

Gardienne Des Vignes displays a dense, saturated purple color. Delivering its signature spice right out of the blocks combined with intense, briery, black currant, blackberry and black cherry fruit. The layers of vibrant, dark fruit intermingle with hints of pepper, cedar, mocha and sasparilla building in complexity. This is an intensely fruited, rich, medium-full bodied, mouth-filling Zinfandel with a voluptuous texture and medium to fine grain tannins. The intensity builds toward the long finish where the wine becomes smooth and supple.

Gekkeikan Black & Gold is a unique blend of two sakes, carefully selected from Sake made with rice milled to 60% and 70 % by our sake master for a rich, complex sake. Full-bodied with hints of honeydew, papaya, anise and roasted nuts. Well balanced, finishes long and smooth. A great sipping sake. This versatile food sake complements duck, grilled chicken and pork, scallops and steamed shellfish dishes. To fully appreciate Black & Gold’s complexity and nuances, enjoy slightly chilled or at room temperature.

Gekkeikan Kobai Plum wine (named after the red flowers which bloom on plum trees) is a profusion of flavor as enticing as the fragrant plum. Delicately balanced between sweet and refreshing, Kobai Plum is made with California white wine and natural plum flavors. Sweet plum aroma, with plum, black cherry and passion fruit flavors and a sweet sherry-like finish. Delicious with fresh fruit salad, ice creams and sorbets, dishes with tangy sweet sauces (such as barbecue or hoisin), chocolate, cheese and salted nuts. Excellent aperitif or dessert wine. Serve chilled or over ice. Makes a great plum wine spritzer.

Characteristically sweet with a creamy medium-body. Hints of honey and tropical fruit, with a long finish. Gekkeikan Nigori is a rough-filtered Junmai-shu. By definition Nigori means ‘cloudy’ and this style of sake is thicker and creamier in texture, with a milk-like appearance. The ‘cloudiness’ comes from the rice sediment which remains in the sake after it has been passed through a special coarse-mesh filter. The tradition of rough-filtering sakes has been used in Japan for many centuries. Serving Suggestions: Serve chilled or in a variety of unique cocktails. Shake well before serving. Perfect Pairings: Delicious with fresh fruit salad, lightly sweetened desserts, rich flavored meat dishes and spicy food.

Gekkeikan Traditional is the world’s most popular Junmai-shu! It embodies the signature Gekkeikan style and represents over 370 years and 14 generations of sake brewing experience. Herbaceous with hints of grapefruit and a light earthiness. Good acidity, mineral driven, well-balanced with a clean, medium finish. Delicious with tempura, full flavored fish and shellfish, fresh green vegetable dishes, and coconut-based Asian dishes. A flavorful base for stocks and marinades. This versatile sake can be enjoyed warm, at room temperature or chilled. Excellent for sake cocktails and infusions.

Zipang Sparkling Sake is a unique and fun new sake from the House of Gekkeikan. Lightly carbonated, Zipang’s sparkling style is produced naturally by secondary fermentation in a closed tank. Celebrate with Zipang Sparkling Sake! Lively and bright with hints of tropical fruits, medium-bodied with a refreshingly light finish. Pairs well with a wide array of light appetizers and hors d’oeuvres as well as with spicy food. Zipang Sparkling Sake is best served chilled and enjoyed in a flute. I really, really LOVE a good Chardonnay at a good price point. So, in comes the Gen 5! I really think this is one of the cleanest, purest, most poignant Chards I’ve had in a long while. It is focused and perky, with bright notes of kiwi, guava, pineapple, prickly pear and (now that its warmed up just a bit) a little hint of vanilla bean.

Georges Duboeuf this Beaujolais-Villages displays a deep, luminous cherry color, red with bluish tints. The bouquet offers ripe red fruit character, suggesting strawberry and black currant, with a touch of cinnamon. Velvet-like in the mouth, with soft tannins, it is well-balanced and complete. a wine which lends itself to all occasions, from the apéritif to the cheese board.
