Our Director's Chardonnay is sourced from vineyards throughout Sonoma County, representing a range of climates, soil profiles and clonal selections. This diversity yields a complex and intriguing wine and allows for nuances in blending. Our fruit is harvested in the early morning hours and whole-cluster pressed. Director’s Chardonnay delivers an intense fragrance featuring peaches and figs, pretty spice notes and a subtle floral quality. The wine is perfectly balanced with luscious flavors of apple and melon, tropical fruits and a hint of citrus. It has a long finish, vanilla and spice notes, and just the right amount of body and lushness. Enjoy with crab cakes, sweet and sour pork, or baked Brie.

Francis Coppola Director's Merlot 750ML

A rich, Sonoma County Merlot with succulent flavors of plum, blueberries and cocoa. Director’s Merlot is made primarily from Clones 3 and 9, selections that become intensely fruity as they ripen on the vine. Clone 3 grapes contribute traditional plum flavors and lushness while Clone 9 is dense, deeply colored, and more tannic. When we blend these Merlot selections together, we create a perfectly balanced wine, expressive on the palate and long on the finish. Our Director’s Merlot offers excellent body and a bold palate of blackberries, cherries, and currants layered with earthy spices, toasted wood, and a hint of vanilla. Well-toned tannins enhance the wine’s fine structure and a long finish adds to its allure.

An intricate blend of Pinot Noir grapes highlighting different regions and microclimates of Northern California. Director’s Pinot Noir is made from a blend of Carneros and Russian River Valley fruit. Because we combine fruit from two appellations, we designate this wine “Sonoma Coast.” Our Carneros fruit boasts notes of spice and earth while our Russian River fruit offers density and richness. Director’s Pinot Noir reflects the beauty of the vintage with an alluring fragrance of raspberries, cherries, and rose petals. Silky upon entry, the wine broadens on the palate, growing richer and more flavorful with sweet juicy flavors of strawberries, cherries, and cloves, as well as notes of tea leaves and candied orange peel.
