  • Peter Vella Burgundy 5L Box

Burgundy wines, are wines that originate from the Burgundy region in France, have long been prized for their hearty character and flavor. Peter Vella Burgundy, made in the style of these wines, offers a similar taste experience, beginning with a medium body that segues smoothly into delicious hints of black cherry fruit. Burgundy is the wine I like to match up with grilled meats, especially lamb or pork tenderloin. It's also a natural with spicy, red pasta sauces or even a hearty soup, like Minestrone.

  • Peter Vella Cabernet Sauvignon 5L Box

The grapes for Peter Vella Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested from some of California's best-known growing regions. Unlike many other Cabs, however, this wine is created in a light, easy-to-enjoy style with soft notes of cherry fruit and a wonderfully smooth finish. I've never met a Cab I didn't like and versatility is probably the reason why. Ours will go from Porterhouse steak to a bowl of chili without missing a beat. Or try it with fiery homemade chicken fajitas and a side of Spanish rice. The mellowness of this wine handles spicy very well.

  • Peter Vella Chablis 5L Box

California Chablis has enjoyed enormous popularity for many years and ours is one of the best. Peter Vella Chablis offers a clean, refreshing taste accented by soft floral notes and a smooth finish. Our Chablis is equally at home on the patio with a platter of cheese and fresh fruit, or next to a serving of mussels over linguini. That's the beauty of this wine -- it goes with just about anything. Enjoy it with strips of herb-grilled chicken tossed into a spinach salad for a special treat.

  • Peter Vella Chardonnay 5L Box

Of the white varietals, Chardonnay is by far the most popular, and after tasting Peter Vella Chardonnay, you'll know why. Our Chardonnay has a refreshing, fruit-forward style, accented by notes of green apple and pear. Hints of oak provide just enough depth. The finish is clean with a gratifying smoothness. In my opinion, Chardonnay is one of those wines where you can get creative with food pairings. Creamy pasta sauces are a natural, but I'll also serve it with grilled chicken tacos or a steaming bowl of corn chowder and French bread. A zesty seafood stew like Cioppino, with big chunks of white fish and scallops, also tastes great with this wine.

  • Peter Vella Delicious Blush 5L Box

The appeal of Peter Vella Blush begins with the color – a pale rose tint that looks as refreshing as it tastes. Our Delicious Blush has a lighter body with enticing flavors of fresh, red berry fruit layered with sweet caramel and vanilla aromatics. The clean, crisp finish makes this wine a real winner on hot summer days. The sweet fruit flavor of this wine makes it the obvious choice when pairing with desserts, or as a partner for cheese and fruit before dinner. When the weather heats up, I'll sometimes pour my Blush over ice with a splash of carbonated spring water. What a fresh way to cool off!

  • Peter Vella Delicious Red 5L Box

Peter Vella Delicious Red earned its name for two very good reasons - its brilliant color and bright, fruity taste. Light-bodied and smooth on the palate, this wine has notes of strawberry and raspberry that are sure to please on hot summer days! To me this wine tastes like summer, so think summer foods. Hickory-smoked barbecue chicken. A crisp seafood salad tossed with fresh crab and baby shrimp. Even a simple plate of bread, cheese, and fresh fruit. Add to any of these dishes a chilled glass of Delicious Red and you're all set!

  • Peter Vella Merlot 5L Box

You can think of Merlot as a softer, even friendlier, version of a Cabernet Sauvignon. Peter Vella Merlot, in particular, has a lighter mouth feel and a fresher taste that people really seem to appreciate. Its easy-to-enjoy style marries well with the prominent but delicate flavors of ripe raspberry and cherry. Our Merlot is lighter-bodied wine, which means it pairs extremely well with heavier dishes like pasta. I like to highlight the raspberry fruit of this wine with the foods I prepare, so I'll usually pair it with a rich homemade tomato sauce with Italian sausage over spaghetti. All I need then is a little salad and some fresh-baked garlic bread and I'm all set!

  • Peter Vella Sangria 5L Box

From a humble beginning in Spain, Sangria's popularity has grown worldwide to become a popular festive beverage. Sangria's blend of traditional red wine and citrus fruit flavors make for a refreshing beverage suited for all informal social gatherings. • Peter Vella White Zinfandel 5L Box

Bright flavors of fresh strawberries and ripe watermelon really make Peter Vella White Zinfandel a stand-out when it comes to delivering flavor and consistently high quality. You'll be sure to appreciate the wine's light body, and its crisp, clean finish complements the bright fruit characters with an easy grace and charm. Enjoy! Served slightly chilled, our White Zinfandel was made for long summer afternoons spent in the company of good friends. Of course, friends can get hungry, so why not bring out a tempting assortment of their favorite appetizers - Chinese potstickers, shrimp quesadillas, miniature quiches, or everyone's favorite, pigs-in-a-blanket. Or try it with Hawaiian chicken skewers fresh off the grill, accompanied by a savory wild rice pilaf.

  • Pinot Patch Pinot Noir 750ML

Aromas of cherries and violets, followed by layers of fruit, from strawberries to raspberries. The finish is bright with tart acidity and a touch of minerality. Not overly extracted, this shows great purity of fruit with some subtle spice undertones.

  • Pio Cesare Barolo 750ML

Sweet rosemary, licorice and red berries waft from the glass in Pio Cesare’s Barolo. This is a fairly approachable vintage for the estate’s Barolo. Firm, young Nebbiolo tannins frame the long finish. The aromas and flavors are somewhat forward, and I don’t see enough depth in the fruit to support long-term drinking, but this should provide plenty of enjoyment on the near and medium term. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2020.

  • PlumpJack Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 750ML

PlumpJack Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and lively with its expressive fruit and layered notes of dried red fruits, vanilla, cinnamon, sage and fresh herbs that carry over onto the palate. Dark, nuanced and beautifully woven together demonstrating impressive balance and structure.

  • PlumpJack Reserve Chardonnay 750ML

PlumpJack crafted in the 'alternative Napa style' with no malolactic fermentation, our fruit is sourced from two Napa Valley vineyards - one in Carneros and one in St. Helena. The cooler Carneros site imparts this wine with fresh green apple and Bartlett pear on the nose, while the warmer St. Helena site lends to some tropical notes. The Carneros vineyard also gives this wine a beautiful, bright, lively acidity, which is balanced by the creamy, rich texture of the St. Helena fruit. A touch of oak gives the wine traces of vanilla, flint, and spice.

  • Poggio Anima Belial Sangiovese 750ML

Hailing from Tuscany, this red wine embodies all that I love about Tuscan wines. It smells and tastes of sun kissed red berry fruit; it’s dry, earthy, and delicious. After it continues to open, scents of cherry cola, minerals and spice emerge. Swirl that essence along with the red fruit, and there’s simply no way you won’t be transported to the rolling hills of Tuscany. I imagine sitting on a terrace overlooking vineyards, church steeples and cypress trees while I savor every sip.

  • Poggio Anima Gabriel Greco Del Tufo Basilicata 750ML

Poggio Anima sunlight yellow robe with golden reflections. To the nose, a predominance of flint with notes of honey, peach and wild Mediterranean flowers ending on a discreet note of toasted bread. In the mouth the first impact is its freshness sustained by its acidity which underlines its structure as well as a well-defined minerality backed by a refreshing taste of citrus.

  • Poggio Anima Samael 750ML

Poggio Anima color: Dark ruby red with purple reflex. Bouquet: Bright and savory with a nose of crushed berries and exotic spice. Taste: The wine is fairly large in stature with flavors of crushed black and red fruits along with marjoram and coriander.
