This product of Japan, like all nigori sakes, is a cloudy liquid. Completing Sayuri's understated image is its unassumingly feminine and faint pink bottle. The drink is light and smooth to swallow; possessing a slight degree of thickness because of its production’s coarse filtering process. Delightfully, there is hardly any after taste. Since this is so refreshing and approachable to drink, be careful not to drink too much! Sayuri is best served chilled and makes an excellent drink with spicy food because of its mild, understated flavors. Not only that, this sake goes well with desserts like dark chocolate brownies.
