Chateau de Lancyre Pic Saint Loup Rosé 750ML

Chateau de Lancyre Pic Saint Loup Rosé 750ML

Château de Lancyre a big rosé! Raspberry and pear aromas on the nose, with distinctive spicy, minty garrigue notes. Big, bold and firm on the palate, ending with a long, clean finish. A rosé for year round drinking! Excellent on its own, it is also a great food wine - pair with hearty salads, grilled vegetables, kebabs, stuffed tomatoes or charcuterie.

Wine Spectator

A vibrant style, with concentrated dried berry and melon flavors accented by dashes of pepper. Dried mango and pineapple notes emerge on the rich finish.

Score: 89. —Kim Marcus, June 15, 2013.

Wine Advocate

Made from a blend of 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Cinsault, the 2012 Chateau de Lancyre Coteaux du Languedoc Pic St. Loup Rose has a light pink/salmon color to go with mineral-laced cherry, melon, citrus rind and rose petal aromas on the nose. Provencal in style, with a medium-bodied, juicy feel on the palate, it has plenty of flavor and richness and should be enjoyed over the coming year.
