    Taittinger an elegantly fresh and delicate Champagne blended from a high proportion of Chardonnay grapes to yield a refined flavor palette of pear and stone fruits offset by warm, yeasty notes and hints of breadcrust. The subtle, pale gold color of Taittinger Brut La Française is punctuated by extremely fine, persistent bubbles rising to the surface in fragile strands. The fragrant berry and white fruit aromas, underscored by toasty, yeasty notes are confirmed on the ample, elegant palate which is strongly marked by refined Chardonnay fruit flavors. A fresh, balanced acidity sustains the whole, and carries into a long, crisp toasty finish of great delicacy. Pinot Noir lends the finished blend body, vinosity, structure and power as well as the elegant red berry aromas typical of the variety; Pinot Meunier provides a supple, round fruitiness to the wine; Chardonnay contributes elegance, finesse, crispness and delicacy to the blend, as well as a degree of structure and longevity.

    Talisker appearance: Brilliant gold. Nose: Powerful peat-smoke with sea-water saltiness, the liquor of fresh oysters, and a citrus sweetness. Body: Full. Palate: A rich dried-fruit sweetness with clouds of smoke and strong barley-malt flavours, warming and intense. Peppery at the back of the mouth. Finish: Huge, long, warming and peppery in the finish with an appetizing sweetness.

  • Talisker Single Malt Scotch 18 year old 750ML

    Talisker appearance: Amber. Nose: Rich and fruity Victoria plums, greengages, perhaps dried orange peel with some butterscotch or rum toffee and a thread of smoke behind. The smoke soon advances into the foreground and the toffee note is joined by a light mintiness. With water, those maritime characteristics emerge once again dry boat varnish, edible seaweed. Still sweet; now with notes of iodine and the smokiness of an un-struck match. Body: Full. Pleasant, smooth. Palate: Sweet in front, then more assertive, with a whiff of smoke. The overall effect is warming. The development is towards smoke, coal-tar and toffee. Finish: Medium length. The characteristic chilli 'catch' in the finish is subtly present in the aftertaste.

  • Tamber Bey Deux Chavaux Vineyard Merlot 750ML

    Tamber Bey our 100% Merlot from the Yountville Appellation Deux Chevaux Vineyard represents a fruit-driven wine with aromas of black cherry, black stone fruit, turmeric, light kirsch notes and granite. The mouth feel is masculine for a Merlot. Flavors of cherry and cherry pit evolving with time into cassis are mixed with a bit of cola and quinine. The finish delivers dark chocolate powder, graphite and sweet oak notes. Overall, this is a lush, seamless wine that will continue to improve with age.

  • Tamber Bey Rabicano 750ML

    Tamber Bey Bordeaux blend "Rabicano" represents the fifth vintage of this Yountville Appellation wine from the Deux Chevaux Vineyard. The nose is greeted with aromas of red currant, red cherry, a hint of pomegranate, clay and floral in the form of delicate lavender notes. The aroma evolves into light cedar, gentian violet and blackberry. The mouth feel is medium bodied, velvety, seamless and fresh, thanks to good acidity lifting up the wine. Flavors of pomegranate are mixed with an herbal hint. The finish mixes delicate crushed raspberry notes with light cigar box, smokiness and ash. This is a wonderful "drink now" wine that will also improve with age.

    Tamber Bey portfolio is our Sauvignon Blanc from the Tench Vineyard in Oakville. This vineyard sits on the eastern bench of the Oakville Appellation and is characterized by rocky red dirt - qualities we like in a vineyard. We think this is one of the best Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in all of Napa Valley. Winemaker Frederic Delivert developed a unique aging program for this wine, aging 60% of the wine for six months in both Oak and Acacia wood barrels and the other 40% in stainless steel. The use of new Acacia wood barrels respects the elegance of the Sauvignon Blanc fruit, and it brings unique character to the palate. The stainless-steel fermentation and aging contributes a bright fruit component and wonderful crispiness. By blending both lots together, we create a fruity, complex and fresh wine that is delightfully balanced.

    Tamber Bey's first release of a 'Oakless' Chardonnay, made from the same Dijon Chardonnay Clone that is in the renowned Deux Chevaux Vineyard Chardonnay. Fermented and aged entirely in Stainless Steel, this new wine brings out and incredible bright and fresh sensation of the fruit. It all starts with an explosion of banana, ripe Danjou pear and an undertone of melon. Then the soft entrance evolves on roundness, a sap-like flavor and texture supported by the acidity, with notes of banana again, sweet-gum and touches of salinity.

This superb flavour is full of rich malts and maturity that slowly fades to a silky rounded texture. Well balanced with a clean busy flavoured fullness that ends with a slow fading of flavours. It is said that William Teacher would not give his name to his blend until he had found perfection. Highland Cream was that whisky. At 45% it has one of the highest single malt contents of any blend and uses fully peated Ardmore whisky as it’s fingerprint malt. The combination is incredible depth and smoothness combined with a rich smokey undertones. Truely a masterpiece.
