Sauza superbly crafted, perfectly balanced, and extremely versatile, Tres Generaciones Reposado is the newest member of the Sauza family. It is made of 100% hand-picked, pure blue agave and is rested for three months exclusively in double-treated American Oak barrels. Color: Bright gold Aroma: Smooth, round and slightly sweet. Taste: Initial spicy sweetness, on a background of herbs, cooked agave and mild white pepper. Finish: Warm and dry with lingering white pepper.

Scapa colour: Rich autumn gold. Nose: Sweet and velvety on the nose with flavours of sweet Clementine and heather honey. Taste: Perfectly balanced and rich with a tang of ginger and sweet baked apples. Finish: Rich long very slightly dry with merest hint of the sea.

Scarpetta appearance: Bright plum red. Aromatics: Crushed berries and plums. Hint of earth and porcini mushrooms. Palate: A medium bodied red wine with low tannins but bright acidity giving it wonderful balance. Food and Wine Pairings: The high acidity and low tannins let this wine work with everything from a pizza or homemade pasta to a piece of beef or pork.

Scharffenberger the wine is two-thirds Pinot Noir which produces a red fruit (cherry and plum) forward nose combined with one-third Chardonnay which adds the tropical expression of lychee nut and mango. The 100% malolactic fermentation adds a vanilla cream character producing a round and full-bodied wine. After approximately two years on the yeast lees, there are notes of freshly baked bread and pastry that enhances the more fruit forward style of the wine. Finally, after several months on the cork the wine develops caramel and hazel complexors.

Schmitt Sohne this is a red varietal wine from the Rheinhessen region bordered on the west by the Nahe River and on the east by the Rhine River. It offers intense fruit aromas of black cherries and plums with a hint of tobacco. This is a full to medium-bodied young wine with excellent up-front fruit that lingers on the palate. Enjoy by itself, with salads, fish, lamb and red meat.

Scorpion appearance: Oak amber color in the bottle. If it was maple syrup it would be a medium amber - It is a beautiful thing! On swirling, it leaves a very light coating on the glass which belies its viscosity. Sitting in the glass it looks like a small puddle of sap or nectar. First Impression: Smoky and more understated and delicate than the Scorpion Silver. Dry, with a bouquet of lime, citrus, and cucumber - salt, and savory herbs, and on more warming: char, creosote, some spiciness. The oak aging even at only 6 months shines through. Taste: Dry and sweet at the same time somehow, with citrus, leather, dry smoke and lime, hints of cardamon, nutmeg. It is resinous on the tongue and mouth feel, whispers down the throat and then leaves a rather delicate warming considering the 80 proof. It has a smokey, spicy aftertaste like a mesquite campfire. This is amazingly complex stuff- very smooth and too easy-to-drink.
