A very gentle wine showing pear, apricot and green apple fruit notes with a touch of oak, showing great balance, nice intensity and good depth of flavor with a smooth and rounded finish producing a fruitier and fresher wine style, fully expressing Chardonnay's distinctive character.

The growing season produced white wines with great aromatics and a bright fresh character. Our Pinot Gris is no exception. It is very aromatic with notes of freshly-baked banana bread, Asian pear and a pleasant floral/herbal accent. On the palate it bursts into flavors of green apple with hints of butterscotch overlaying lime zest characteristics. The long finish is dry and fresh with a distinct mineral quality.

Metallico’s aromatics are intense with pear, lemon-lime and nectarine. The palate has ripe fruit flavors of honeysuckle, peach and citrus. Crisp, food-friendly acidity keeps this special wine refreshing and bright. Upon arriving at the winery, the grapes were whole-cluster pressed. After pressing, the juice was cold tank fermented, retaining the essential bright fruit and mineral characteristics. The wine was not allowed to go through a secondary, malo-lactic fermentation and saw no new oak aging.

This Reserve Fumé, Sauvignon Blanc was handcrafted with you and your taste buds in mind. The crisp, refreshing Sauvignon Blanc boasts clean flavors of orange blossom and tangerine. What makes this new wine different than the California Fumé is it is sourced from Alexander Valley and is aged entirely in French oak barrels. The California Fumé you know and love is aged mostly in stainless steel tanks. The French oak influence lend rich and creamy flavors that are balanced by the crispness of the white peach and citrus notes. This is a great oyster wine as most Sauvignon Blancs are, but you can also pair this was some delicious crab cakes.
